the san francisco three minute film festival

The Three-Minute Film Festival was created in 2001 by Chris Baty, our hero, who had the dream of getting people to spend 30 days embracing the spirit of uncritical invention. Chris moved on to many awesome pursuits including National Novel Writing Month and The Office of Letters and Light, and left the festival behind to be randomly, somewhat annually organized for you. Why? Because we love to make films just for the sake of making films, we love to watch films and laugh, and we love YOU. For an inspirational message from Chris, click here
